FRESHTIVAL 2012
This year marks the 10th ANNUAL FRESHTIVAL. 10 years, woah time flies, still excited and going strong. There is a lot new for our tenth year with a new venue and of course new movies! The films you have been waiting for all summer are here and they'll get you amped for the upcoming season and hoping for powder and the park. Check out all the movies we are showing here. And of course we'll have the athletes from the movies and lots of great prizes and give aways, as always at the shows.
Licensed shows
Now at Freshtival 2012, you will be able to enjoy the movies just like you are sitting in the lodge apres-ski style. That's right, the late shows of Freshtival will be licensed. Of course they will be 18 and older only, but you'll be able to sit back and relax with an adult beverage and take in the the amazing skiing on the big screen.
More than just movies?
Yup we just can't get enough. This year we will be hosting a two sessions to help you learn the tricks of the ski media trade. Saturday afternoon we have industry giant Blake Jorgenson discussing his start and his ways in ski photography. Then a round table discussion with Canadian ski movie makers; Eric Crosland (Sherpas Cinema), Darren Rayner (Voleurz) and Mike Douglas (Switchback Entertainment) about starting out in ski film making.
